Someone forgot to tell our tomato plants it's the outdoor plants that are supposed to get tomato blight, not the indoor ones:
Beautiful, healthy outdoor tomatoes.
Sigh...
We are a bunch of friends who grow our own veg in Edinburgh. This is our online vegetable diary that links the allotment to the kitchen and dining table, listing what we sow, pick, cook and eat. All our growing, harvesting and seasonal recipes in one blog!
We've had blight on greenhouse tomatoes but are you sure that is blight?
ReplyDeleteMaybe they're just a little depressed. Perhaps I should add some prozac into the tomato feed...
ReplyDeleteOh no! We had the same, but I didn't know it was blight. Black stems and brown rotten bits on the fruit. These were all outdoor plants, and our very first attempt on our allotment. It was heartbreaking!
ReplyDeleteI have the same thing, and wonder if it's because it gets cold, 55-60 F during the night.
